Memory care in Fort Lauderdale

Memory Care at Symphony at the Waterways Assisted Living and Memory Care

Our Memory Care living option is designed to support the needs of residents living with the challenges associated with Alzheimer’s, memory loss or other forms of dementia. Our design team carefully plans every detail of our memory care environment. This may include supportive paint colors and accent walls to help create way-finding points, Memory Stations are designed to promote independent purposeful engagement, low glare residential style flooring to reduce visual disturbance, and personal Memory Shadow Boxes which are personalized with items to assist our residents in finding their way to their homes. Every detail matters and is carefully planned to provide cues for our residents and a secure environment where meaningful moments may occur organically.
